Privacy Policy

Rent A Nerd LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as LeadQuota AI("LeadQuota," "we," "us"), runs leadquota.ai and the LeadQuota service. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have. It also covers cookies.

1. Our two roles

• For our customers and website visitors, we are the "business" (controller): we decide how account, billing, and site information is used.
• For the people who appear in our customers' results("Lead Data"), we are a "service provider" (processor). We collect Lead Data only when a customer asks us to, and only to provide the service to that customer.

2. United States only

LeadQuota is offered only to businesses in the United States. It is not offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. We exclude profiles that show a location outside the United States from results. If you believe we hold information about you and you are outside the U.S., email us and we will delete it.

3. Information about customers and visitors

We collect:

• Account information: name, work email, company, and login details, to create and secure your account.
• Billing information: plan, invoices, and payment details. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor; we only see details such as card brand and last four digits.
• Settings you provide: target titles, industries, and other criteria, to run the service.
• Usage and log data: pages requested, IP address, browser, and device, to run, secure, and fix the service.
• Messages you send us: contact forms and emails, to respond and support you.

We share this information only with vendors that help us run LeadQuota, such as Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Railway and Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (bot protection), Anthropic (AI processing), and Apify (data collection infrastructure). Vendors may change over time. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business.

4. Lead Data

When a customer asks us to monitor a public post, keyword, or company page, we return information about people who engaged with that content. Lead Data may include: name, headline, job title, employer, company industry and size, general location, LinkedIn profile URL, engagement details, the text of the related post, a relevance score, an AI-written rationale, and a suggested outreach hook.

Lead Data never includes email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, profile photos, health information, precise location, or sensitive traits such as race, religion, or sexual orientation. We do not buy contact data from other companies.

We use Lead Data only to provide the service to the customer who requested it. We don't sell it, we don't share it with other customers, and we don't use it to train AI models. Because we act as a service provider and do not sell personal information, we are not a data broker.

5. Cookies

Today we use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep your account secure (set by our sign-in and bot-protection providers), plus browser storage that remembers display preferences such as theme. These are necessary for the site to work, so we don't ask for consent to use them. You can block cookies in your browser, but you won't be able to sign in.

We may add analytics or advertising tools in the future, such as Google Analytics. If we do, we will update this section and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

6. Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We treat Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of selling and sharing. Since we do neither, no further action is needed.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes, or until you ask us to delete it. Lead Data is deleted when a customer asks or when their account closes.

8. Your rights and how to use them

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what information we hold, get a copy, correct it, delete it, and opt out of selling, sharing, or certain profiling. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email Ben at myrentanerd dot com. To be removed from LeadQuota results, send us your LinkedIn profile URL. We will delete your information and make reasonable efforts to keep you out of future results. You don't need an account. We respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, and if we deny your request you may reply to appeal.

9. Security

We use encryption, access controls, and trusted vendors to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

LeadQuota is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as LeadQuota changes. We will post the new version here with a new date and email account holders about significant changes.
